The Sr. Hr IT Solutions Delivery Analyst will support the operations HR team, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department. In addition to these responsibilities this resource will be responsible for coordinating solutions delivery to the HR team as well as leveraging IT resources to provide data and analytics to the HR Operations team. You will leverage other high performing IT teams and resources to develop solutions that enhance productivity and the employee experience at Milwaukee Tool.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and technology solutions to meet those objectives.
- Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
- Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations to the HR department and other company leaders.
- Identifies, recommends, and manages development of custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, reports , and software solutions.
- Collaborates with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize technology for business needs and to test new applications and features.
- Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation.
- Provides user training and hands-on support.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SQL, PowerBI, or other Data and Analytics skills
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product. Preferably Workday and Kronos.
- Project Management experience
- Experience working with large hourly workforces is preferred (Distribution / Manufacturing)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field required.
- At least three years of experience with HR business systems highly preferred
- SHRM-CP a plus.
