Milwaukee Tool is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to unlock the next level of productivity in construction by driving the never-ending industrialization of how our core users work. This position is a new role that will partner with core users to uncover opportunities and provide solutions that will holistically improve workflow efficiencies and strengthen partnerships.

Responsibilities
Lean Mentality:
- Collaborate with partners to drive value through problem solving, short term and long-term goals.
- Facilitate strategic Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Quick hit projects from definition through execution
- Perform analysis of current state & provide multiple what-if scenarios for improved efficiencies. Understand and present financial impacts of these scenarios.
- Recommend improvements and partner with users for prioritization and solution implementation.
- Coach teams on how to perform assessments with a Lean lens to identify future opportunities.
- Provide coaching and training on various process improvement techniques to build internal capabilities
- Assist partners in developing a lean culture and empower them with tools and knowledge to be self-sufficient in the future.
Project Management:
- Develop and execute action plans and project timelines with plans in place for long term sustainment of results.
- Establish appropriate metrics and report on progress, achievements, and results. This includes internal and external executive-level reporting.
- Work with all Milwaukee teams to develop and prioritize a detailed target list and strategic roadmap of opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date funnel to track all initiatives.
- Acts as CEO of project - Takes accountability and possesses a sense of urgency for entire project outcome.
Industry Trends & Collaboration:
- Take initiative to build a strong internal network with Sales, Pre-Fab, Construction Tech, and other internal teams to stay current on construction industry trends, internal capabilities, and customer needs
- Represent Milwaukee Tool with Trade Organizations at the national level and at local industry events through attendance, presenting Lean topics, assisting with case studies, and networking.

- Manufacturing / Operations Background
- Lean proficiency -- Takt, Waste, 6S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, cell layout, visual management, Capacity, etc.
- Cross functional event facilitation skills
- Self-starter mindset
- Effectively communicates up, down, and across the organization
- Capability to quickly establish credibility, influence project teams and persuade professionals at all levels
- Strong presentation skills - Ability to creatively deliver technical content, build the story, and keep large audiences engaged
- Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills
- Lean coaching and teaching skills
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 yrs of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, or Construction, Including 5 years in process improvement roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma Certifications
- Willingness to travel domestically 50% of the time. Mainly air travel will be required.
