The Talent Acquisition Sourcer for Electrical Engineering is responsible for sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines of qualified candidates for our various business needs. The Sourcer will focus on building innovative sourcing strategies utilizing market insights, data, and other creative solutions. This person will utilize various sourcing techniques such as internet sourcing, social media, and other nontraditional techniques to identify qualified and interested candidates. The Sourcer will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team and/or stakeholders to provide talent insights and ensure that the proper sourcing strategy is in place.

Talent Acquisition Sourcer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop talent pipelines for current and future electrical engineering openings
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to strategically align on sourcing needs
  • Persistently develop and execute on creative sourcing strategies
  • Research and determine where the top talent are located based on a specific skill set, and provide those findings to stakeholders
  • Utilize a variety of different sourcing platforms and techniques to locate, identify, and attract top talent to join Milwaukee Tool
    • Resources such as internet sourcing, social media, databases, networking, events, etc
  • Proactively research and implement best practices and new effective ways to source
  • Increase the qualified and interested candidate pool through engaging messaging/outreach
  • Maintain consistent candidate flow and deliver on the sourced candidate conversion rate KPI's put in place
  • Promote Milwaukee Tool as an employment brand ambassador, sharing our story in the market and driving brand awareness
  • Provide guidance to recruiters on sourcing strategies and techniques to help increase the candidate flow for all of TA

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Talent sourcing experience in electrical engineering and/or Technology (IT)
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct search or in-house corporate talent sourcing experience
  • Proven success in identifying qualified and interested candidates within a very competitive market
  • Advanced/Expert level sourcing strategies and techniques
  • Must have a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to think outside the box to identify and attract talent, and iterate when necessary to improve sourced candidate conversion rates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging messaging
  • Experience in a highly selective recruiting environment.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, drive for results, a sense of urgency, resourcefulness, excellent analytical and problem solving.
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
