Financial Analyst

Job Description:

This challenging and exciting role is a great opportunity to lead a variety process improvement, data integrity, and data analytic processes for Milwaukee distributor and supplier master data. This position will partner with cross-functional teams to support large-scale ERP implementations, develop automated processes to ensure best in class data management, and provide excellent customer service to various business partners throughout Milwaukee Tool.

This individual will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Sales Operations, and IT teams to support business needs related to Customer and Vendor Master Data.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support large-scale ERP implementation to create scalable solutions for customer & vendor master data
• Lead process improvement activities aimed at driving request management automation, data consistency, and accuracy
• Build proactive data analytic and management reports to identify & resolve data inconsistencies
• Partner with EDI Technical teams to support EDI onboarding of new trading partners and resolve errors in a timely manner
• Manage inflow of daily departmental requests and respond in a professional and timely manner
• Compile reports, analyze data and conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity
• Develop interdepartmental relationships with business partners to maintain accurate customer and vendor master data
• Easily adapt to changing needs of finance department and business partners to ensure consistent business partner support
• Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple processes and projects, while prioritizing appropriately
• Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes & models to provide meaningful information to internal customers.
• Develop peer relationship with finance partners to drive consistency in reporting and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Computer Science related field; Oracle or database experience a plus
• Minimum 1 year of directly related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel knowledge required. Power BI experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to excellence

• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening)
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or on a team
